The Feminist Art Project
facilitated by Rutgers University is a nationwide celebration of women’s
contributions to art. The Art of Healing , a juried exhibit,
will be an expressive, dynamic, challenging and informative collaboration
that integrates artwork and informational exposes. The artwork will respond
to, comment on, and draw attention to historical, psychological, medical and
social issues relating to women’s health. Prepare to be provoked,
stimulated, disturbed, and inspired.

CED welcomes new staff
members!
The Center for Eating
Disorders is pleased to announce Jacki Dilley, LMSW and Robin Okun, MSW,
CNI have joined our staff. Jacki provides individual treatment for
adolescents and adults with eating, weight, and body image issues. Robin
teaches mindful movement and healthy body image integration techniques
through group classes and workshops. We welcome these experienced
professionals to our treatment team!
Collaboration:
Amy Pershing, CED Clinical Director and Director of CED’s Bodywise Recovery Program is pleased to announce a collaboration between Bodywise and area Curves
Clubs (Curves is an international fitness company) to provide an education and
prevention seminar series designed to address issues related compulsive eating,
yo-yo dieting, and binge eating disorder. Amy will also be contributing a
regular column, to the regional Curves newsletter, that will address ways to:
“naturalize” eating patterns, avoid binge eating, and overcome food and weight

Center Signs AED World Wide Charter for Action on Eating Disorders!
Developed by the Academy for Eating Disorders, the World Wide Charter for Action
is a patient and family bill of rights, spelling out what patients and their
loved ones should be able to expect from those responsible for health care
